According to reports from the Metro, Harry Kane is losing the race to return to full fitness for the clash against Manchester United this weekend.
Harry Kane has been in sensational form for Tottenham Hotspur so far this season and his stunning brace during the 4-1 victory over Liverpool at Wembley means that the England international has already bagged 13 goals in all competitions during the current campaign.
However, Kane was substituted late on into the game against Liverpool and he also missed Tottenham’s midweek 3-2 Carabao Cup defeat against West Ham United, with many believing that the striker sustained a hamstring injury.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino initially had dismissed such claims but now it is looking like a real possibility that Kane will miss Spurs’ huge encounter against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
According to reports from the Metro, Kane is losing the race against time to return to full fitness for the encounter with Manchester United and that Tottenham are now already planning for the possibility of starting Fernado Llorente for the clash.
