Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera is set to watch the next three-weeks of football from the sidelines, as Manchester United confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that the summer signing had fractured a rib in United’s 2-1 victory over West Ham United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Ander Herrera had a great game for Manchester United, until during the second half he felt a twinge in his back after contesting for the ball in midfield, eventually being substituted for Antonio Valencia.
Manchester United confirmed that Herrera will miss up to three-weeks, with the midfielder tweeting soon after that it is not a time to feel sorry for him, and that he will start rehabilitation with immediate effect to get himself back for United.
