Two changes – Predicted 3-4-2-1 Man Utd line-up vs Newcastle

Alejandro Garnacho Manchester United

Manchester United will travel to St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon to play Newcastle United in the Premier League.

The Red Devils have little at stake in the league, as they are currently 13th in the table. Their main focus is now the Europa League and only managed to draw 2-2 against Olympique Lyonnais in the quarter-final first leg last week.

As per team news, nothing extra to add from the encounter against Les Gones as Lisandro Martínez, Amad Diallo, Ayden Heaven, Jonny Evans, Matthijs de Ligt and Toby Collyer aren’t in contention to feature.

Expected Man Utd line-up vs Newcastle

Ruben Amorim is likely to make two changes to his starting Xl from the Lyon assignment. Andre Onana has been continuing his error-ridden performances and made two poor mistakes last time out.

Therefore, considering nothing much at stake in the Premier League, Altay Bayindir should get the nod to start in goal in this game.

Harry Maguire, Noussair Mazraoui and Leny Yoro should be the back three once again as Amorim doesn’t have many options available to rotate in this position.

Diogo Dalot and Patrick Dorgu would be the two wing-backs. So, Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof would be among the substitutes.

Manuel Ugarte may be in the midfield pivot role alongside Casemiro, while Bruno Fernandes is expected to be in the No.10 position. Alejandro Garnacho might be the other CAM.

Hence, Mason Mount could feature off the bench. Kobbie Mainoo returned to action in midweek after recovering from his issue and could be involved as a substitute this weekend.

Rasmus Hojlund has degraded heavily and displayed yet another poor performance in midweek. Joshua Zirkzee was bright after coming on in the second half and even scored so he may be in the centre-forward position ahead of the Dane. Here’s the predicted Man Utd line-up vs Newcastle:
