Belgium international Romelu Lukaku continued his fine start to the season as he bagged another goal in the 4-0 triumph over Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon. The 24-year-old has had fans on their feet since the start of the campaign, and the Eagles game was quite similar as he put in a strong shift in the forward department.
Lukaku showed his tireless work rate over the course of the game, and he eventually reaped his reward with a late goal in the 86th minute. As a result, the striker has taken his tally to 11 goals in just 10 games for United this season – excluding his efforts with his national team.
The Belgian is now at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts with seven, and he will be hoping to add to his tally when United visit Anfield to take on Liverpool following the international break. While Jose Mourinho is impressed by Lukaku’s strong start to his United career, he has stressed that the teamwork is more important rather than assessing the individual statistics.
