You would think that Ed Woodward and Louis van Gaal would be putting the spending on hold in January after spending so much during the summer, but it seems that Manchester United are preparing there first target of the January window with a fresh bid for Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado.
United boss Louis van Gaal remains keen to bring the 26-year-old Colombian to Old Trafford and is ready to give Ed Woodward the green light to go firth when the window opens with a huge £30million bid, according to the Express.
Juan Cuadrado has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona over the summer, with Fiorentina not interested in listening to any bids less than £38million. However, Juan Cuadrado has rejected a new contract at the club, meaning that Fiorentina might be more open to a lower offer, thus why United are ready to strike first with £30million.
Cuadrado is contracted until 2017, but Fiorentina already know they cannot keep the star past next summer.
