The January transfer window has been open four-days and it seems that Manchester United have their first incoming transfer in the bag, and he has been training with the club since the back end of October.
Reported in today’s Mundo Deportivo over in Spain, Manchester United have made an official offer to sign Victor Valdes on a permanent deal, based on a 1.5 year contract.
It was thought that Louis van Gaal offered Victor Valdes the chance to recover for a knee ligament injury with training at Carrington, but no word on whether he would be signing for Manchester United with many other clubs, including Liverpool interested. Valdez suffered the ligament damage for FC Barcelona back in March 2014.
An 18-month-contract has been offered for the 32-year-old after being assessed by United’s backroom staff over the past few months, it is unsure whether the Spanish goalkeeper has accepted the contract but he is likely too after recent reports of him buying a car and looking for property in the area.
