As per today’s version of Corriere dello Sport (news image provided below), the headline states “Ten Hag pushes United: Amrabat will be done”
The Italian news source have mentioned that the Old Trafford club are about to make the midfielder and the Viola happy by submitting an offer.
CorSport claim Man Utd are ready to ‘guarantee’ the £26m deal Fiorentina have been demanding to sell the African star this summer.
It is stated that the Premier League giants are ‘truly determined’ to hire the services of Amrabat and the ‘intervention’ of Dutch coach, Erik ten Hag, has proved to be decisive.
Last season, Man Utd mainly started two veterans in the form of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro in the center of the park.
In the current window, Man Utd have already signed a creative midfielder in the form of Mason Mount, who may take Eriksen’s place in the starting XI.
On the other hand, the arrival of Amrabat will improve the quality and depth of the defensive midfield position.
It must be noted that Brazilian star, Fred, could end up leaving this summer and United are in talks with Galatasaray for his transfer (Romano).
