Marcus Rashford produced a man of the match display on Wednesday night as Manchester United clinched a convincing win over Championship club Burton Albion in the third round of the League Cup.
The youngster opened the scoring for United with a delicate finish before doubling the scores with a stunning individual effort from outside the box in the 17th minute.
Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial made it 4-0 for United on the night against the Brewers but Sergio Romero would not be disappointed not to keep a clean sheet after Lloyd Dyer bagged a late consolation to finish the game 4-1.
Rashford’s progress has been a talking point over the past year or so, and he has started the campaign in prime fashion with five goals in just over a month of first-team football.
Here are the best Twitter reactions from the game…..
Rashford is getting better and better. And the best thing is he will get even better and better still. The lad has it.

The Red Devils have been drawn against Swansea City in the League Cup round of 16 scheduled to be played on October 24th or 25th, and they will be fairly confident of progressing into the quarter-finals – after they beat the Swans 4-0 at the Liberty Stadium – in the Premier League last month.
Meanwhile, Rashford will be looking to maintain his good start to the season when Manchester United make the league trip to the South Coast to take on Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
