Manchester United star Paul Pogba has delivered a message on social media as he looks to recover from his injury setback. The France international was named as the United captain for the very first time against FC Basel, but he could not last for more than 20 minutes after he pulled his hamstring.
Pogba’s departure brought Marouane Fellaini into play midway through the first-half, and he was influential throughout the game as he provided a goal and an assist in the 3-0 Champions League triumph over the Swiss champions.
The Frenchman is due to be out for four to six weeks following initial scans on Wednesday, but he is expected to have a further examination to find out the exact timeline of his recovery. Pogba had left the Old Trafford game in midweek in clutches, and he has now finally released an Instagram post with a caption, which read: “all will be fine”.
The injury is set to keep Pogba sidelined for the games against Everton, Southampton, Crystal Palace, and Liverpool in the Premier League, while he will also miss the Carabao Cup and Champions League games against Burton Albion and CSKA Moscow respectively.
Pogba will also miss France’s final set of World Cup qualifiers, although they are pole position to automatically qualify for the showpiece tournament, should they win their remaining two games.
