Manchester United supporters were pleased with the performance of Marcus Rashford, who bagged a consolation goal in the 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The teenager was brought on for Anthony Martial in the second period of the game, and he managed to find the net after a superb assist from United’s top-scorer Romelu Lukaku.
Despite the youngster’s effort, United could not find the vital equaliser in the dying stages of the match with Chris Smalling having a close-range effort blocked by a solid Terriers backline.
Here are the best reactions on Twitter over Rashford’s performance…
I almost love that man! He's everything football should be – emerging world class & such a good attitude. #Rashford #mufc

United players except Rashford and Lingard played horribly in that game especially Young and Lindelof. Good game Huddersfield ?

Can we now say Rashford > Martial? Sure Martial can have the odd excellent game but he seems better off bench and is too inconsistent.

Marcus Rashford has now scored more Premier League goals (13) as a teenager for Man Utd than Ryan Giggs.
Only Wayne Rooney (15) has more ? pic.twitter.com/S45Mo0oMn5

Apart from Rashford’s performance, not much went right for United with individual errors from Juan Mata and Victor Lindelof costly the side heavily – in the form of two opposition goals in the first-half.
Jose Mourinho’s men take on Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in the upcoming league outings, and the team will have to regain their winning mentality in order to avoid losing more points to their close competitors.
Cross-town rivals Manchester City are already five points ahead at the top of the standings, and United will want to maintain a close gap to the Citizens – before the sides meet in early December at Old Trafford.
