Tottenham star Chrisitan Eriksen is once again linked with a move to Manchester United.

Back in April, Mirror Sport reported that the Red Devils are prepared to treble the Danish international’s wages to bring him to Old Trafford.

Now, the British source have revealed that the former Ajax man wanted to move to Real Madrid but his hopes of joining the Los Blancos are over and he is considering a move to sign for Manchester United or Juventus.

Transfer: Manchester United ready to agree massive £91million deal with Old Trafford star

According to reports, Daniel Levy wants a mammoth fee of £100million for the club’s prized asset (Mirror Sport).

Eriksen has been world class for Spurs under the guidance of Argentine boss Pochettino and he is in his peak years. He has won the Danish Player of the Year award four times and so far, he has made 89 appearances for the senior national team (scored 27 goals).

Naturally, the versatile star is a central attacking midfielder but he can effectively play in the central midfield and on the flanks as well.

In the last campaign, the playmaker featured in 51 games in all competitions for Spurs and directly contributed in 27 goals (10 goals and 17 assists).

In the 2017-18 season, he made it into the PFA Team of the Year after directly contributing in 21 goals in 37 games for Tottenham.

Eriksen has been one of the most consistent playmakers in the Premier League and he has what it takes to improve our squad. However, his price tag of £100million is way too high taking into consideration that his current contract with the north Londoners will expire next year.

In your view, should Solskjaer move to sign him?

  1. He can’t play on the flanks at all as he has no pace and is totally lost out there. There is also absolutely no evidence that he wants to go to United. A rumour made up by the same people who claim United have been about to buy Bale for the last 7 years. At least Bale has always said that he has no desire to leave Real.

  2. So, this year it’s Eriksen. Last year it was Dier, the year before Kane and Alderweirald.
Not one of them ended up at Utd because we will not sell to you!

  3. If Erik wants to go ,let him go,sell him Spurs are bigger than any player, see what happens to Gareth Bale, after two or three season ,the club does not need them, let go, get a price

  4. why would he leave the champions league finalists to go to a team in the Europa league. Really.
