Dzeko Bosnia

As per reports going on in the media, Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign a proven quality center forward in the form of Edin Dzeko.

According to Corriere dello Sport (press image provided below), the Bosnian international wants to leave Roma in this winter transfer window and he has been offered to a host of European clubs, including Man Utd.

The famous Italian source have claimed that the 34-year-old striker is hoping to return to Manchester but he has not received positive signals from the Red Devils and the Cityzens.

The Sky Blues are happy with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling therefore, Man City have rejected the chance to re-sign him.

At Old Trafford, CdS have stated that United would have liked more from Cavani but they have not really shown the desire to move for Dzeko, who will turn 35 in March and currently earns a salary of 7.5 million euros a year (£127,000-a-week)

The former Wolfsburg forward won every major prize in English football during his time with Manchester City. For Bosnia, he has scored 59 times in over 100 appearances.

Solskjaer really needs to strengthen his No.9 position. Dzeko is a proven Premier League star, who has the quality and experience to improve the strike-force at Old Trafford.

Martial is not a natural center forward and has struggled big time this season. The former Monaco man has only netted 2 goals in 16 league outings. Cavani is top class but he has only started 4 games in the PL (scored 4 goals) in the current campaign.

Not to forget, Odion Ighalo mainly warmed the bench and has recently left the club after expiry of his loan deal. In such a scenario, do you think that Edin Dzeko can provide the much needed firepower? Should Ole move to sign him? So far, in 14 Serie A starts this season, the veteran finisher has netted 7 goals for the Giallorossi.
