21-year-old forward has already made his decision on Inter Milan move

Anthony Martial has no interest in pursuing a move to Inter Milan during this summer’s transfer window. The 21-year-old has been eyed by the Serie A outfit in a proposed deal which could see Ivan Perisic join Manchester United this summer.

The France international had restricted playing time under Jose Mourinho with just 19 league starts during the course of the 2016/17 campaign. Despite this, Martial had shown signs of progress in pre-season where he bagged an assist against both Real Madrid and Valerenga.

Martial came as a substitute once more in the 4-0 thumping of West Ham United in the league opener, and he managed to make a huge impression by slotting in the third goal past Joe Hart.

The former Monaco man has been constantly linked with a summer exit with Tottenham Hotspur being his latest admirers, and according to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, Martial is not keen on a Serie A switch.

“Martial has for now discarded the Inter option. Prefer to stay in Premier if necessary,” he wrote on Twitter as translated by The Star.

Manchester United have been on the trail of Perisic over the past couple of months, and United are hopeful of sealing a £48m deal for the attacker regardless of Martial’s position. Perisic’s agent Fali Ramadani is reported to have met up with Ed Woodward earlier last week in order to speed up the transfer process.
