£25million star has contract offer to sign for Man United – Report

Ralf Rangnick - German manager

Manchester United are consistently linked with Swiss international and Borussia Monchengladbach defensive midfielder, Denis Zakaria.

The Bundesliga star will be out of contract in the summer and that is why he can be lured for cheap in the current winter window.

Transfer: Man Utd told £40million would get signing done – Rangnick keen

Earlier this month, Mirror Sport reported that the Rangnick wants to improve his midfield and the Red Devils are interested in luring Zakaria, who is rated at around £25million.

More recently, Fussball Transfers have reported that the 25-year-old holding midfield star has received a contract offer to sign for Man United.

However, the German news source have claimed that thus far, the Old Trafford club have not made any sort of contact with Monchengladbach, who are prepared to let the player leave this month.

Unfortunately, our record signing, Paul Pogha has mostly been unavailable due to consistent injury concerns in the past two seasons. On the other hand, our only natural play breaker, Matic, is past his best.

Moreover, the likes of Fred and McTominay might be decent but definitely not good enough to win the title. Therefore, the midfield department seriously needs to be strengthened.

In your opinion, should Man Utd make a bid to sign Denis Zakaria?
