Back in December last year, the Hornets defeated Solskajer’s men 2-0 but they have only won once in the last 5 PL outings and at the moment, they are 19th in the table.

As far as Man Utd’s team news is concerned, winter signing Ighalo, who has made two substitute appearances thus far, might get the nod to make his first start for the 20-time English champions.

The Nigerian international could start up front with French international Anthony Martial. Behind the two center forwards, Bruno Fernandes should return and start in the No. 10 role.

In the center of the park, Matic and Fred should start and the likes of Wan-Bissaka and Williams may start in the wing-back positions.

As far as the back-line is concerned, Maguire, Shaw and Bailly could start and De Gea will likely return in place of Romero to start in the goal.

  1. 3-4-1-2 accommodates Fernandes as a link man upfront, good for the first half but second half we should revert to 4-2-3-1
