4-2-2-2: Man Utd’s probable starting XI vs Aston Villa

Manchester United suffered a shocking home defeat against Wolves in the last league game and will look to bounce back when they face Aston Villa in the FA Cup.

We can expect more than a few changes to be made for the cup tie against the Villa Park outfit, who have largely improved under the management of Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard.

In the goal, Dean Henderson could replace David De Gea. In front of the England international, compatriots Phil Jones and skipper Harry Maguire may start in the central defense.

Diogo Dalot should replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Alex Telles should replace Luke Shaw to start in the fullback positions tomorrow night.

In the central midfield, Van de Beek could be given the chance to partner Brazilian international Fred. In the attacking midfield, Bruno Fernandes could return to the starting XI and partner Jadon Sancho.

As far as the strike force is concerned, veterans Ronaldo and Cavani might be rested and the likes of Rashford and Greenwood could start up-front.
