Manchester United defeated reigning PL champions Man City in their own backyard at the weekend. Next up, the Red Devils will face AZ Alkmaar at Old Trafford in the Europa League.

Man Utd have already booked their place in the knock-out rounds but they were unable to confirm top spot in the group after losing the last game against Astana.

On Thursday night, Solskjaer’s men only need a point to top the group but a defeat will guarantee top spot for the Dutch side.

As far as the team news is concerned, the Norwegian boss should make more than a few changes to the squad that started vs the Sky Blues on Saturday.

Expect Sergio Romero to start in the goal in place of David De Gea. In the back-line, Laird, Tuanzebe, Bernard and Young could start.

As far as the midfield is concerned, McTominay and Fred should be rested and in such a scenario, Garner and Pereira could start in the center of the park. In the attacking third, the likes of Chong, Mata and Gomes could start behind lone forward Mason Greenwood.
