4-2-3-1: Manchester United’s probable XI vs Derby

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Man Utd boss

Back in January 2018, Manchester United defeated Derby County 2-0 in the FA Cup. However, later in the year, the Rams knocked the Red Devils out of the Carabao Cup on penalties. Who will come out on top this time?

The Old Trafford outfit dropped points at the weekend against Everton and star goalie David De Gea was the main villain, who gifted the Toffees an early goal.

Against Derby, we can expect Solskjaer to rest more than a few key players and therefore, our B team could play tomorrow night.

In the goal, Romero might start and as far as the back-line is concerned, the likes of Dalot, Bailly and Williams could return to partner Maguire.

In the center of the park, Brazilian international Andreas Pereira may get the nod to start with compatriot Fred.

Star playmaker Bruno Fernandes might be rested and in his place Jesse Lingard could return to start in the No. 10 role. The likes of Juan Mata and Daniel James may start on the flanks and winter signing Odion Ighalo could return to play as the lone center forward up front.

Here is Manchester United’s probable 4-2-3-1 XI vs Derby:

  1. Why would you rest Bruno? He is the fittest and best player in the team. Bruno starts, probably assists or scores.. United win 😀
