£50million player open to securing Manchester United move – Report

Manchester United have been linked with Ben White for a long time and the latest reports suggest that the player is open to signing for the Old Trafford outfit.

According to an exclusive story covered by MEN, the English player is open to securing a move to Man Utd, who are interested in hiring his services to improve their central defense for next season.

The renowned source have claimed that the 23-year-old star sees himself at a big club like the Red Devils in the years to come but Brighton would not like to lose their prized asset in the summer and could ask for a fee of over £35million.

Last season, White was brilliant under the management of Bielsa for Leeds United. He featured in every single Championship fixture for the Elland Road outfit and helped them win the title.

The Whites wanted to hire his services on permanent basis last summer but the Seagulls convinced him to stay and were able to agree a long term contract (until 2024) with the defender (BBC)

Last month Duncan Castles revealed that Man Utd skipper Harry Maguire has asked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to secure the signing of Ben White, who would command a fee of £50million, in the next transfer window (talkSPORT).

In the current campaign, so far, the former Newport County loanee has featured in 28 league games for Brighton and helped them keep 9 clean sheets.
