Manchester United’s big money summer signing, Jadon Sancho, has so far proved to be a flop at Old Trafford and in the past few months, we have been linked with Luis Diaz.

The Colombian international has been in red hot form for FC Porto and last month, Correio da Manha reported that Man Utd are preparing a proposal to sign the winger, for whom £67million fee (clause) is desired in the winter transfer window.

Yesterday, Record reported that Man Utd are still interested in the player but the Anfield club are on top and as per an exclusive story covered by The Sun, the 24-year-old attacker is close to sealing a move worth £60million to Liverpool this month.

The Merseysiders do not have top wingers, Salah and Mane, available due to their participation in the African Cup of Nations and in such a scenario, Diaz would be a big signing.

The Copa America top scorer has netted 14 goals and provided 5 assists in all competitions thus far in the current campaign for the Primeira Liga side. On the other hand, Jadon Sancho has only netted 2 goals and is yet to provide an assist since moving to Old Trafford.

We really have suffered in the attacking third due to the poor form of the England international. Moreover, our Player of the Year from last two seasons, Bruno Fernandes, has been average this term as well.
