At Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag has already brought several players that he has managed earlier in his career.

Lisandro Martinez and Antony arrived from Ajax two years ago. Amrabat, who featured under the Dutch boss at Utrecht, played for United on loan last year.

On the other hand, former Ajax goalie, Andre Onana, arrived from Inter Milan last summer.

Now, De Ligt, who was the captain of the Ajax side that won the domestic double under Erik ten Hag in 2019, is close to reuniting with his former boss at Man Utd.

Nevertheless, he is still young and Man Utd fans will hope that Ten Hag can get De Ligt back to his best.
