£29.6million star wants huge contract to seal Man United move – Report

Morata Madrid

No Manchester United player has managed to score a goal for Ten Hag in the opening two games of the season and yesterday, even Ronaldo was average.

The Red Devils cannot heavily rely on the veteran center forward and must move in to sign a striker before the closure of the summer transfer window.

Transfer: Sport – Man Utd submit offer as £17m player receives clear message to leave

According to reports going on in the media, the Old Trafford outfit have held talks to hire the services of Spanish international, Alvaro Morata, who is valued at £29.6million (The Athletic)

As per today’s version of AS (news image provided below), the Atletico Madrid star had a torrid time in the Premier League with Chelsea and therefore, he would prefer to stay with the Rojiblancos.

However, the news source have mentioned that he would not turn down the chance to move to Man Utd if they offer him a huge irrefutable contract.

He spent the past two campaigns on loan with Italian giants Juventus, before returning to Atletico Madrid this summer. Last season, the 29-year-old featured in 48 games in all competitions for the Old Lady, scored 12 goals and provided 9 assists.

For the senior national side, thus far, the La Roja star has netted 26 goals in 56 appearances.

Ronaldo wants to play Champions League football this season and therefore, he is linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

If the legendary superstar leaves, Ten Hag will have a serious problem. The Portuguese is one of the two United players who managed to reach double figures in terms of goals scored last season.

Morata only netted 24 goals in 72 appearances during his time with the Blues. Do you think Man Utd should seriously move in to sign the Chelsea flop?
