Sofyan Amrabat was the best defensive midfielder at the FIFA World Cup and multiple clubs were interested in hiring his services in the summer.
However, he rejected all the advances from interested parties and opted to join Manchester United.

The Moroccan international stated:
“I’m someone who always listens to my heart and now I am representing the club of my dreams”.
Amrabat has joined the Red Devils on a season long loan. Man Utd will be paying his wages in full and as per reports (Football Transfers), he only takes home 1.9 million euros a year (£1.6million).
So, he will earn around £1.6million during his loan spell and may get a better deal if the Old Trafford club opt to make the move permanent next year.
The 27-year-old midfielder had the chance to multiply his wages by moving to Saudi Arabia, but he turned down Al-Ahli and waited for Ten Hag.
Moreover, on deadline day, he had the chance to move to Fulham on a permanent deal and could have earned more than his current wages, but he still opted to wait for Manchester United.
He warmed the Fiorentina bench all summer, trained alone but ultimately completed his dream move.
In recent years, I have not seen a player sacrifice as much as Amrabat has to join Man Utd and in all fairness, the Premier League giants must be thankful.
