Sesko and Haaland

Another day, another story on the future of Benjamin Sesko, who is heavily linked with Arsenal and Man Utd.

A few days ago, The Mirror revealed the Slovenian international would like to move to the Emirates over Old Trafford.

Transfer: Move close – Man United offer deal to secure signing

As per a story published by EM-bibeln today, Milan and Chelsea are also pushing to lure the 21-year-old center forward from RB Leipzig.

The Swedish news source have mentioned that Arsenal are ‘prepared’ to meet the buyout clause by agreeing the fee of £56m (SEK 750 million) to sign Sesko.

Last summer, the Gunners splashed the cash to sign Kai Havertz and apart from the German international, Arteta also has a quality player in Gabriel Jesus in his strike-force.

Moreover, even Trossard has proved to be top class in the CF role whenever needed.

In contrast, Man Utd have serious problems up front. With the departure of Anthony Martial confirmed, Rasmus Hojlund is the only senior out and out No.9 in the squad.

Marcus Rashford can play in the central role but he had a season to forget last term that led to his exclusion from the England’s Euro 2024 squad.

In such a scenario, a top talent like Sesko would improve the offense at Man Utd, but unfortunately, for now it seems that Arsenal are leading the race to get his signing done.

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds and will keep you updated.
