Erik ten Hag turned to former club Ajax and signed Lisandro Martinez and Antony in his first transfer window as Manchester United manager.
The Argentine international proved to be a hit but injury prone, on the other hand, the Brazilian attacker has turned out to be a massive flop.
As per reports in the media, Ten Hag is once again looking at Ajax to reinforce his Man Utd squad and the name of Brian Brobbey is on the radar again.
Earlier this month, the Dutch ace revealed he rejected the transfer to the Old Trafford club two years ago (De Telegraaf).
Now, according to an exclusive story covered by Football Insider, Brobbey is ready to finally agree a move to Man Utd.
The news source have mentioned that Ten Hag is a massive admirer of the 21-year-old center forward, who is very keen on reuniting with his former coach at Old Trafford.
In the current campaign, the £72,000 a week striker has featured in 26 games for the Eredivisie giants and directly contributed in 19 goals (15 goals and 9 assists).
On the other hand, our £72million signing, Rasmus Hojlund, has netted just 7 goals and provided a single assists in 25 games for the club thus far.
Ajax manager, John van ‘t Schip believes Brobbey is a very important player and it would take an ‘insane’ amount to prize him away from the Johan Cruyff Arena (The Mail).
