Last year, Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, wanted to sign Dutch international, Denzel Dumfries, to improve the backline at Old Trafford.
Reports now indicate the versatile right back has now been offered to Man Utd by Inter Milan but the Red Devils have made a strange decision.

According to an exclusive story covered by The Sun, the Nerazzurri offered Dumfries in a swap deal to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from United.
However, the Old Trafford outfit have rejected the proposal, much to the surprise of the supporters.
Man Utd need a versatile fullback, who is not only solid at the back but also productive in the attacking third and Dumfries is a top wing-back.
This term, the 27-year-old has directly contributed in five goals for Inter Milan (two goals and three assists) in the Serie A.
On the other hand, Wan-Bissaka has provided just a single assist in the Premier League and has only netted two goals in his entire senior career thus far.
Another reason the decision to reject the swap deal is shocking is that United do plan to get rid of the former Crystal Palace player.
Reports indicate Man Utd want to send the 26-year-old back to the Eagles in order to lure French attacker, Michael Olise, from Selhurst Park.
Dumfries’ current contract at the San Siro will expire next year and Inter Milan value him at around £42.8million (Corriere dello Sport).
In your view, have Man Utd taken the right decision to turn the swap proposal down?
