Manchester United are prepared to offload Jadon Sancho this summer after he was left out of the Match Day squad for the opening two Premier League games.

To replace him, Man Utd have a clear opportunity to sign a proven quality playmaker in the form of Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling.

As per today’s edition of The Mail, the Blues are looking to sell the England international, who takes a mammoth salary of £325,000 a week, this summer.

The British media outlet have mentioned that Chelsea are interested in signing Sancho and are willing to send Sterling in a swap deal to Man Utd.

The shocking aspect of the story is that even the 29-year-old star would be willing to move to Old Trafford.

The report states that despite playing for arch rivals, Manchester City and Liverpool, Sterling would not turn down the chance to join Man Utd from Chelsea.

The Three Lions star won every domestic title multiple times with Man City but had an okay season at Stamford Bridge last season that resulted in his exclusion from the England squad for the Euros.

He netted 8 goals in 31 Premier League appearances and his best days are clearly a thing of the past.

If Man Utd do end up selling Sancho, who is also wanted by Juventus, then they must look to sign a young and quality playmaker to replace him, instead of luring a past his prime Sterling from Chelsea. What do you think?
