Manchester United have been linked with Kalidou Koulibaly this month and the latest reports going on in the media are interesting.
On 1st Feb, Mirror Sport exclusively revealed that Man Utd are hell-bent on signing the Senegalese international in the summer transfer window.
More recently, Le Parisien covered an article and claimed that the central defender has purchased a new apartment in Paris and PSG are interested in signing him. The French source have also claimed that the likes of Man United and Man City are looking to secure the signature of the African star, who is valued at around 80 million euros (£68million).

On the other hand, La Gazzetta Dello Sport have mentioned that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis wants to get the maximum fee from the sale of his prized asset and is hoping that Man Utd, Everton and Bayern Munich will move to sign him in the summer.
The renowned Italian outlet have mentioned that last year, the Serie A side rejected an offer of 100 million euros from Man United, who remain interested in getting his signing done.
The 28-year-old star is the only defender to have made it into the Serie A Team of the Year in the past four campaigns. Last season, he was voted as the Serie A’s best defender. In 2017 and 2018, he was named Senegal’s Footballer of the Year.
So, without doubt, Koulibaly is one of the best defenders around and he has got the quality to improve any back-line in the world. Unfortunately, in the current campaign, the former Genk man has missed a lot of games due to injury and at the moment, he is sidelined with a thigh concern.
As far as Manchester United are concerned, last season, the 20-time English champions kept 7 PL clean sheets and this term, they have already reached that figure in just 27 games. So far, the Red Devils have let in 29 goals in the current campaign and last term, they conceded 35 times in 27 league outings.
Solskjaer signed Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka (right back) to strengthen things at the back last summer and the Norwegian manager has got central defenders like Lindelof, Bailly, Jones, Tuanzebe around as well (Smalling on loan).
In your view, do Man Utd need another central defender? Should they splash the cash to sign Kalidou Koulibaly in the summer transfer window?
