Manchester United were heavily linked with Jadon Sancho last summer and the story is exactly the same this summer as well. On daily basis, there are reports on the subject and perhaps they will only stop once the transfer saga is concluded.
Few days back, The Mirror revealed that the Red Devils have already agreed terms with the England international and a fee of £81.5million would be needed to get his signing done.
Transfer: Man Utd make contact to finally sign £115,000-a-week player who wants OT move
The latest reports going on in the media are intriguing.
According to The Guardian (press image provided below), Borussia Dortmund are prepared to sell the Three Lions star to Man Utd if they come up with an offer of £77.5million.
The renowned British source have mentioned that if the asking price of £77.5million is met then BvB will not stop him from joining the Old Trafford outfit.
Reports coming Germany claim that Dortmund have set a clear deadline for the sale of the 21-year-old winger.
According to Bild, BvB require a suitable offer to sell their prized asset before the end of next month or else they will keep him at the Signal Iduna Park for another season.
A similar situation was created by the Bundesliga side last year as well. They wanted the deal to be agreed before August 10, 2020 (BBC). That did not happen and the player ended up staying.
Therefore, Man Utd should not waste time if they are to finally get his signing done this summer. The fans will be absolutely furious if the Red Devils fail again.
