Club willing to sanction £110,000-a-week star’s move to Man Utd

Paulo Dybala

Manchester United scored 30 goals fewer than champions Manchester City in the Premier League last season. In order to challenge for the title in the next campaign, the Red Devils must adequately strengthen their attack.

According to reports (The Mail), Juventus are willing to sell Paulo Dybala to Man Utd if they are able to meet his valuation i.e. between £70m-£90m.

The British source have claimed that Solskjaer is a massive fan of the South American and will look to lure him should Lukaku or Pogba leave the Old Trafford club.

Transfer: Man United prepare £56million move to sign £63million attacker

Dybala can effectively play anywhere in the attacking third and over the years, he has been one of the best attacking players in the Italian league.

In the 2017-18 season, the La Albiceleste playmaker started 26 games in the Serie A and directly contributed in 27 goals (22 goals and 5 assists). However, in the last campaign, Allegri changed the style of play and set up his team around Cristiano Ronaldo.

In such a scenario, Dybala was not so effective because he had to play in a different positions in almost every game. The 25-year-old started 24 league games last season, scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists.

So far, we have only lured Daniel James from Swansea City to reinforce our offense but the youngster is inexperienced and has never played in the top flight of English football.

Therefore, Solskjaer should push to sign a proven quality attacker this summer and Dybala surely fits the bill.

The Argentine star’s current contract with The Old Lady will expire in 2022 and at the moment, he is earning around £110,000-per-week (The Mail).

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming weeks.
