The Red Devils desperately need reinforcements at the back having already conceded 11 goals in just 4 CL games this term. As per reports in Portugal, they are serious about signing Goncalo Inacio.

According to a recent story covered by Correio da Manha, Man Utd, Liverpool and Real Madrid will send their teams to monitor the performance of the defender when Sporting will face Benfica in the Derby de Lisboa on Sunday night.

At the moment, the Lions are on top of the Primeira Liga table after ten games and the Eagles, who are the defending champions, are just three points behind.

So, it is going to be an exciting contest with “maximum pressure” and all the eyes would be on Inacio, whose current termination clause has a release clause of 60 million euros.

CM claim the Old Trafford outfit are considering moving forward in January to secure the signing of the 22-year-old star.

It is reported that Man Utd are prepared to meet the release clause by making an initial payment of 45 million euros (£39.2million) and the remaining 15 million euros in installments.

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds and will keep you up to date.
