How David de Gea reacted following Swansea City win

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea appeared in a buoyant mood after his side sealed a 2-0 Premier League triumph over Swansea City on Saturday.

United were in control during the first period as they clinched a 2-0 lead in the space of 20 minutes, but the second-half display was not quite the same.

With Swansea pushing forward more often, De Gea had to pull off a couple of top-notch saves off Tammy Abraham, and this ensured the victory and another clean sheet for the Spaniard.

Owing to his consistent showing, De Gea’s links with Real Madrid do not cease to end, although he recently admitted that he gets more love from the English faithful than in his home country.

The 27-year-old has stopped short from committing his long-term future to United in numerous interviews, but the hierarchy should not waste much time in resolving his situation at Old Trafford.

De Gea is said to want a bumper wage contract, which may put him only behind Alexis Sanchez in the earners list, but he is worth the pay rise following his spectacular saves through the campaign.
