The Sky Sports journalist has revealed the 24-year-old would be willing to move to Old Trafford as he does not want to warm the bench at the Allianz.
Reports this summer have indicated that the former Juventus star, who still has three years left on his contract with the Bavarians, is going to cost around £42.5million.
Last season, he only started 16 games in the league for Bayern. Moreover, at the European championships, thus far, the 45-capped international has only warmed the bench and is yet to feature under Koeman.
The coach has preferred skipper Virgil van Dijk and Stefan de Vrij in the central defense and De Ligt is expected to be on the bench again vs Romania next week.
Ten Hag’s Ajax side won the domestic double and almost reached the final of the CL in 2019 and De Ligt was his captain.
