Transfer: From Spain – Man Utd ‘on the prowl’ to sign £69million star before Euros

According to an exclusive story covered by Football Insider, Man Utd are close to sealing the appointment of Ashworth.

The news source have mentioned that the St. James’ Park outfit are demanding a compensation fee of £20million for their sporting director.

The saga has dragged on for months but Newcastle are now preparing to hire a replacement and expected to allow Ashworth to move to Man Utd for a lower fee.

Dan would have a colossal job to rebuild the squad at Old Trafford. Defense has been shambles and a top replacement must be signed for Raphael Varane.

The retired French international confirmed that he will be leaving the Red Devils in the summer transfer window.

In the midfield, Ashworth must focus on bringing in a new No.6 for Man Utd to replace five time CL winner, Casemiro.

Upfront, Antony must be replaced with a top quality winger and a striker should be lured to replace Martial.

In your view, who should Dan Ashworth sign to reinforce the Man Utd squad?
