Manchester United have finally agreed a new contract with England international and star striker Marcus Rashford.

Few hours back, the Red Devils officially confirmed the youngster has signed a new four year deal to stay at Old Trafford.

As per reports (The Mail), the 21-year-old has agreed a contract that will make him earn £300,000-a-week, £15.6million annually, £62.4million in the next four years.

Transfer: Contact made – Manchester United looking to sign £36million star

Rashford was our main man up front in the last campaign but I think that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has broken the pay structure to agree a new deal with him and I hope that this does not disrupt the dressing room environment.

Rashford has now become the second highest earner at the club behind only Chilean flop Alexis Sanchez. The youngster is now earning more than Paul Pogba and David De Gea (Mirror Sport).

The likes of Jones, Smalling and Young have already extended their deals at Old Trafford but we have been unable to agree new contracts with our record signing and the main shot stopper, who has been our most consistent performer (POTY on four occasions) in the post-Ferguson era.

It must be remembered that under his previous contract, Rashford only earned around £45,000-a-week (The Express). Now, the Three Lions center forward is getting almost seven times more.

Last season, the likes of Mane, Salah and Aubameyang won the Golden Boot award after scoring 22 goals each in the Premier League. On the other hand, Rashford only managed to score 10 league goals.

In your view, does he really deserve a deal worth £300,000-a-week?
