As far as the team news is concerned, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could make eight changes to the squad that started vs Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday. In the goal, Romero was highly impressive but De Gea could return to replace the Argentine shot stopper.

Harry Maguire is a doubt (The Mail) for the clash vs the Citizens after suffering an injury in the last fixture and we can expect Jones to start with Lindelof in the central defense. The likes of Wan-Bissaka and Shaw should return to start in the full-back positions.

In the central midfield, Brazilian star Fred could return to partner Serbian international Nemanja Matic.

Andreas Pereira, who started in the midfield vs Wolves, could move into the offensive third to start as the central attacking midfielder in place of Juan Mata. Moreover, the likes of Rashford and Martial should return to start in the attack.
