Manchester United are consistently linked with top class center forwards and once again the name of Harry Kane is in the focus.
Back in 2020, the England international was keen on moving to Old Trafford (The Mail) and he was heavily linked with the Red Devils last year as well but Tottenham have been able to hold on to their prized asset.
Transfer: Man Utd prepared to agree £240,000 a week deal to sign £21million star – Report
Last month, German source, Bild, reported that Man Utd are favorites to sign Kane from the north London club in the summer as Man City are targeting Haaland to reinforce their strike-force.
More recently, The Mirror have exclusively revealed that United are plotting a fresh move to finally sign the Three Lions captain in order to replace the likes of veteran Ronaldo and Cavani.
The renowned media outlet have mentioned that United wanted to sign the 28-year-old last summer but eventually ended up luring CR7. Next summer, it would take a fee of over £100million to get his signing done.
Kane is a proven quality striker, he has won the PL Golden Boot on three occasions, won the World Cup Golden Boot in 2018 and was also the top scorer in the Euro 2020 qualification campaign.
This season, the 67-capped star has so far started 34 games in all competitions and directly contributed in 25 goals (21 goals and 4 assists). For a world class star, he still earns a relatively low wages of £200,000-a-week (The Mail).
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming months and will keep you updated.
I’ll update everyone now to save time. Kane will be 29 when the season starts. If he leaves Tottenham he wants to go to a team in the CL and one that guarantees trophies. This rules out Manchester United
