Kane and Son Spurs

Tottenham superstar has not won a single trophy, apart from individual awards, with the north Londoners but on Sunday, he has the chance to become a European Champion as the captain of England.

The Three lions striker has been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer and reports in the media suggest that Man Utd are favorites to get his signing done.

Transfer: Star authorized to seal £51.5million Manchester United move – Report

According to an exclusive story covered by Football Insider, the Red Devils are leading the race to hire the services of the 27-year-old center forward, who is also on the radar of Manchester City.

The news source have mentioned that the Old Trafford outfit are pressing hard and are prepared to move big to lure Kane for next season.

It is further stated that Man Utd have been given encouragement that Tottenham are open to selling their prized asset and are demanding £100million plus two players in exchange.

The £200,000-a-week star (The Mail) is one of the best goalscorers in world football and he is exactly the striker that Solskjaer needs in his side. The 58-capped international was without doubt the best attacking player in the last Premier League campaign. He scored the highest number of goals (23) and provided the highest number of assists (14) as well.

On the other hand, the last Man Utd player to top the goal-scoring charts in the Premier League was Robin van Persie. The retired Netherlands forward netted 26 goals in the 2012-13 title winning campaign. Since then, no Old Trafford star has managed to score 20+ league goals and we have not won the PL title.

Currently, we do have a proven striker in the form of Edinson Cavani but the Uruguayan international is past his best and will turn 35 next year. In your view, should Man Utd break the bank to sign Harry Kane?

  1. we first need a world class CDM like Rice, Kante Ndidi and CB like Verane at United. And we need to keep top class players like Pogba, Martial, DDG, Bruno. And then sell players like Henderson, James, and Lingard to raise funds to invest in our team. Also why are we giving contract to Mata and Matic? They have lost their pace.
