Manchester United have been linked with French international and Rennes star Eduardo Camavinga for quite some time and the latest reports are intriguing.

According to a story covered by Ouest France today (press image provided below), the 18-year-old boy’s future at the Ligue 1 club is still up in the air and he could end up leaving before transfer deadline ends this month.

Transfer: Man Utd ready to agree £50million deal to secure £200,000 a week star’s exit

The news source have mentioned that Rennes have held talks with the player’s representatives but have been unable to reach any agreement. It is stated that if Camavinga does not extend his stay with the club then he will have to be sold this month.

Rennes refuse to let him leave for free next summer and as far as the potential destinations are concerned, the news source have named Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

Lately, reports have suggested that the representatives of the midfielder are pushing him to sign for the Red Devils this summer (Santi Aouna).

Ouest France claim that Man Utd and PSG have expressed interest in the teenage sensation but so far, no offer has been made to hire his services. As far as the asking price is concerned (Fabrizio Romano), the youngster would be allowed to leave for a fee of around 30 million euros (£25.4m).

Camavinga struggled in the opening league game of the new campaign against Lens and Rennes manager Bruno Genesio stated:

“He has to free himself, think only of football, of his game. He’s completely integrated into the squad, but his situation makes him a little bit apart for me. I consider him to be a Stade Rennais player but this situation cannot continue. I can’t say today that he’s one of my executives, when he can leave in a week or ten days. “

Have your say – Should Man Utd offer £25.4m to sign Eduardo Camavinga?
