The famous Spanish outlet claim that Man Utd are one of the main teams in the continent interested in hiring the services of the 22-year-old play breaker.

Real Madrid have been after the Les Bleus star for some time and it is stated that the La Liga champions’ progress has stopped due to the high asking price set by Monaco.

They are now hoping that Tchouameni and his representative will try to convince the Ligue 1 side to drop the valuation to 50 to 60 million euros.

AS claim that the Stade Louis II outfit are a selling club but they do not sell for cheap. Back in 2014, the 13-time European Champions had to spend 80 million euros to hire the services of James Rodriguez from the French side.

At Old Trafford, incoming boss, Erik ten Hag, will have to reinforce the midfield department that seriously lacks quality and depth.

Matic is our only natural defensive midfielder, the veteran’s best days are long gone and he will leave in the summer.

In your view, should Man Utd sign Tchouameni for £59million to replace the Serbian international?
