Gazzetta – Man Utd have to agree £88million+ fee to seal signing

Osimhen Nigeria center forward

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Man Utd have to agree a fee of £88million plus (over 100 million euros) to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

As per a report covered by the Italian media outlet (news image provided below), Aurelio de Laurentiis does not want to lose coach, Spalletti, and star players in the summer.

The club president wants to extend the manager’s deal until 2025, on the other hand, he will only allow Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen to leave if someone comes up with an ‘indecent offer’.

Gazzetta claim it will be hard to keep the Nigerian striker if a big offer arrives from a rich Premier League club such as Manchester United.

It is stated that De Laurentiis will not sit down to start talks with the Red Devils unless he hears a figure of more than £88million for the leading goalscorer in the Serie A.

The former Lille center forward has netted 21 goals in the Italian league this term and he is second place in the race for the European Golden Shoe. Only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland has more goals, 28.

Napoli are expected to win the Scudetto after more than 30 years and are one of the favorites to reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Erik ten Hag needs a world class striker to lead the line. Should Man Utd agree to pay over £88million for Osimhen?
