Manchester United supporters have urged the club’s hierarchy to do what it takes to sign Gareth Bale after he hinted that he could leave Real Madrid during this summer’s transfer window.
The Capital outfit were crowned the Champions League winners for the third straight season after a 3-1 win over Liverpool and Gareth Bale had a major say with two of Los Blancos’ three goals.
Despite this, Bale was fairly disappointed with the restricted gametime over the campaign and said that he could consider an exit after holding discussions with agent Jonathan Barnett.
As such, United fans have been excited by the prospect of signing Bale this summer with manager Jose Mourinho previously saying that he would be prepared to fight his European rivals to pursue the Welshman.
Man United fans who continue to suggest they could do without Gareth Bale, just look at that goal. Get him at any price if he's available this summer #MUFC #UCLfinal

Can’t believe there’s United fans out there that wouldn’t want Bale at United, it’s baffling! If he leaves Real this summer we have to move heaven and earth to make sure it’s United he signs for.

Those comments from Gareth Bale. He’s on the move this summer! ? Fuck me. If there’s a chance Manchester United HAVE to go in for him. IF he stays fit he will guarantee you trophies. He’s that good.

United struggled to find a regular fit for the right-wing role during the 2017/18 season and Bale would efficiently fit into position after playing most of his Los Blancos career in a similar role.
However, this would surely have ramifications on a couple of forward-minded players at the least, considering the vast wages and transfer fees which may need to be spent on the Wales international.
Juan Mata and Anthony Martial have both been linked with possible exits from Old Trafford but the latter, in particular, is attracting strong interest from Juventus, who have made contact with his representative.
