According to Calcio Mercato, Inter have been following the former Monaco man for quite some time and could move for him in case Lautaro Martinez leaves the club.
The Italian outlet have mentioned that Martial is valued at around 70 million euros but the price tag could be brought down by offering Skriniar in exchange. The center back has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
At the weekend, we covered a story (via La Gazzetta Dello Sport) claiming that the Nerazzurri are prepared to ways with the £45million defender, who is wanted by Man United, Man City and Liverpool.
Last summer, Inter Milan splashed the cash to sign Romelu Lukaku from the Red Devils and also lured Alexis Sanchez on loan. Should we sell Martial to the Serie A giants as well?
The 24-year-old has mainly played as an out and out striker for us this season. He was inconsistent before the suspension of football but since the restart, the Les Bleus attacker has been in top class form.
In the last 7 games in all competitions, he has directly contributed in 8 goals (5 goals and 3 assists). He has developed a great understanding with Rashford and Fernandes up front and therefore, he is an extremely important member of the squad.
Yes, we still have not replaced Lukaku as yet and should move to sign a center forward, however, Solskjaer must keep Martial at all costs. As far as Skriniar is concerned, the Slovakian has been average for Inter Milan this term and there is no dire need to improve the central defense at Old Trafford.
