Three changes – Man United’s probable 4-2-3-1 XI vs Palace

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United conceded in injury time against Southampton and still find themselves fifth in the table. Next up, the Red Devils will face Palace tomorrow night.

In the last few games, Solskjaer has played with the same starting XI and the players clearly looked tired vs the Saints. So, the Norwegian manager must make a few changes to the squad for the contest against the Eagles.

Luke Shaw suffered an ankle injury and was replaced by Williams, who then got a cut above his eye. So, of the two, we can expect Williams to start in the left back positions.

I would love to get rid of Maguire after his awful defending in the last game but it is likely that the manager would like to start his skipper once more.

The England international would likely start with Lindelof in the central defense. In the right back role, Wan-Bissaka should retain his palce.

As far as the midfield is concerned, veteran Nemaja Matic should be rested and in his place, Brazilian international Fred should return to start with Pogba.

Rashford and Martial found the net vs Southampton and Fernandes provided yet another assist. The trio should be retained. However, James should return in place of Greenwood.

The youngster has performed really well for us in recent games but we should not exhaust him and hand him the much needed rest. Here is Man United’s probable 4-2-3-1 XI vs Palace:
