Manchester United have signed more than a few midfielders in the past few years under the management of Jose Mourinho.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Portuguese boss is interested in signing another midfielder for the Red Devils in the January transfer window.
According to an exclusive report covered by The Sun, the former Chelsea manager is ready to go head to head with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola to sign £60million rated Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

The Portuguese international is naturally a defensive midfielder but he has proved to be effective in the attacking third as well.
Last season, he played for Wolves in the Championship and helped them get promotion. This season, so far in four Premier League appearances, the former Porto midfielder has scored one goal and provided one assist.
As per the provided The Sun link, City insiders are convinced that Guardiola will make a move for the 21-year-old in the winter transfer window and therefore, Mourinho, who is a big admirer of the midfielder and has followed him closely, is ready to move as well.
Back in 2015, Neves became the youngest player to start as the captain (of Porto) in the Champions League and as far as his national career is concerned, he has so far played 5 times for the Seleccao.
In the past three summer transfer windows, United have lured midfielders like Pogba, Matic and Fred. In your opinion, do they really need to sign Neves to further strengthen the department?
