What a night it has been for Manchester United! For the first time since 2021, the club has won a Premier League game with a 4-goal margin. Ruben Amorim has truly arrived in some style and fans cannot be more excited.
Braces from Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee helped Man Utd get past Everton on the night.

It was a bold call from the Portuguese tactician to start the latter, who has been struggling for form, despite Rasmus Hojlund scoring a brace last time out.
As promising a night as it was for Man Utd, Dan Ashworth will know that the only way this team can take the step to the next level is if they start mending the gaping holes in the squad. One such spot that needs reinforcement is at left wing-back.
Now, as per Gerardo Fasano (Area Napoli), Man Utd under Ruben Amorim are likely to make a move for Lecce defensive star Patrick Dorgu who is viewed as the ideal signing for the left wing-back role.
As per the journalist, Lecce are likely to agree to a deal of around £25m to sell a player who has really impressed in the Italian top flight. He said:
“Manchester United, on the specific instructions of their coach Amorim, would like to make a move for Patrick Dorgu. The English club would need a left-back and the Dane would be the ideal profile. The incoming offer is between thirty and thirty-five million plus bonuses that are easily achievable, already in this transfer session”.
It is very evident early on under Ruben Amorim that Luke Shaw is no longer going to be considered as a left-wing-back. Instead, he is likely to be used on the outside left of a back three when fit and could start against Arsenal midweek even as Lisandro Martinez is set to miss out with an accumulation of yellow cards.
Patrick Dorgu, profile-wise, is one of the best-suited options for Man Utd to look at and it would be a huge coup if they manage to sign him. Let’s wait and see how things play out in this transfer saga going forward.
