Sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is ‘convinced’ Juve have the ‘green light’ to sign Greenwood from the Red Devils.

He knows that many at the Premier League side do not want to see the 22-year-old winger return to the club even after his brilliant performances in Spain.

This season, so far, the young playmaker has netted 10 goals and provided 6 assists in all competitions for Getafe.

Greenwood has directly contributed in more goals than the highest earning star at Old Trafford i.e. Marcus Rashford.

At the weekend, he scored a brace and provided an assist to help his team earn a 3-1 victory away from home against Almeria.

United need a prolific attacker like him to reinforce things up front but due to assault allegations, it is likely he will be sold.

As per reports, the England international would be allowed to leave for a fee of £40m (GiveMeSport).

According to Gazzetta, Guintoli’s priority is to lure an attacking winger. He failed to secure Berardi last summer but believes Greenwood would join.

Have your say – Should Man Utd sell Mason Greenwood to Juve for £40m?
