Manchester United have been after Ronald Araujo for a long time and as per the latest reports, they are going to outbid Bayern to lure the South American.
In the January transfer window, Florian Plettenberg revealed the Red Devils want to lure the Uruguayan international from Barcelona.
Transfer: Report – £10.6million a year boss huge contender to sign for Man Utd
According to Sport, the 20 time English champions wanted Araujo two years ago and are now coming in strong to get his signing done.
The Catalan outlet have mentioned that Bayern are willing to pay around £67m (80 million euros) to bring the La Liga star to the Allianz.
On the other hand, Man Utd are prepared to bid even more than £67m to beat the Bavarians to the signature of Araujo.
The 25-year-old is one of the best defenders in the Spanish League and Xavi would like to keep him at the Nou Camp.
However, as per Sport, the Blaugrana need to raise funds and bids are going to be the highest for the former Rentistas center half.
Man Utd are preparing a ‘multimillion dollar investment’ and are ready to bid to make Ronald Araujo the leader of their backline.
Yesterday, the Old Trafford outfit conceded their 51st goal of the Premier League campaign and without improving the backline, they will not be able to progress next season.
In your opinion, should Man Utd bid over £67m to finally sign Araujo?
