Manchester United have one week left in the transfer market but have already wrapped up most of their signings for the transfer window.
The priority right now is to trim the squad to ensure that they comply with the PSR rules of the Premier League.
Transfer: Ten Hag now ready to agree asking fee urgently to secure signing after Brighton defeat – Report
Jadon Sancho has had a weird few weeks at Man Utd. His career at Old Trafford seemed all but over but Erik ten Hag gave him a window back. Yet, the English winger has not been a part of the matchday squad for the first two Premier League game weeks.
As per La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus are prepared to ‘complete’ the signing of Manchester United star Jadon Sancho. However, his salary of 8.5 million (euros) a year is proving to be an obstacle with the Italian giants not willing to pay £138,000 per week to close the deal.
PSG are another club interested in the 24-year-old. They would have no hesitation paying such a salary as the French giants are hardly one to be put off by a wage such as Sancho’s. However, the Ligue 1 defending champions don’t really need a winger anymore.
Sancho is a very difficult player to analyze. When fit and in the mood, he can be unplayable but such displays have been few and far since his move to the Old Trafford. What he needs may be a fresh start at a different club.
If Man Utd cannot find a club for the 24-year-old in the coming days, the next few months could become make or break for Sancho. Amad Diallo, Rashford, Garnacho and Antony are ahead of him in the pecking order as things stand.
The next week could turn out to be huge in Sancho’s Man Utd career. Right now, it looks 50-50 with regards to him staying but Juventus and PSG are well sorted with their options and let’s see how this transfer saga pans out.
