Club prepare to offer £42.3million star to Manchester United – Report

Manchester United and Ruben Amorim are off and away in their bid to work symbiotically and return the club to where it belongs.

The Portuguese tactician could not get a win in his first game against Ipswich town but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

News – Man Utd now submit £56.4million offer to sign star – Decision made

Amorim comes to Old Trafford with a new tactical plan and a new formation that would take some time to get used to. The fact that he is starting without a pre-season behind him makes his job that much more harder.

There were some positive signs that the Red Devils should take away from the Ipswich draw. The team should also get better once players like Mason Mount, Luke Shaw, and Lisandro Martinez begin starting games.

Now, as per La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus could offer Douglas Luiz in a swap deal to Manchester United that would see Joshua Zirkzee move the other way. The Dutch striker hasn’t really hit the ground running since his move to the Premier League.

Luiz joined Juventus from Aston Villa back in the summer for £42.3million, but it is being mentioned that Motta doesn’t necessarily rate him. Injuries and a poor training attitude means his Old Lady career hasn’t really taken off yet.

Having someone like Luiz in the mix could bode very well for Manchester United but letting Zirkzee leave months after signing him doesn’t make sporting sense. The Dutch striker is definitely talented and could come good with time.

It remains to be seen how the Old Trafford club go about this transfer negotiation. The idea of a proven player like Douglas Luiz at Manchester United is enticing and only time will tell how Dan Ashworth & co. think.
